What are signs of Transmission problems?
Some signs can include fluid leaking, noises when in and out of gear, erratic shifting, or gear slipping. If a service engine light is on, never ignore it because a possibly small problem detected by the cars computer could result in a large and more costly problem when ignored. Early detection and action can lead to saving money.
HOW MUCH is the repair?
This question is the most important and difficult question to answer because of the unique situation each automobile and its transmission presents to us. It’s nearly impossible to diagnosis a car over the phone and give you a accurate diagnosis and estimate; the best way to find out what’s wrong is to check the car at our facility with electronic diagnosis, visual inspection of the vehicle, and a road test which we provide to our customers for free with no obligation. Only then could we determine the fairest and most accurate way to fix your car and get you back on the road.
Used Transmission VS. Rebuilt Transmission?
The simple answer to this dilemma is up to the customer. When you get a transmission from the junk yard you never know what you are really getting, it could work great or it could set up a long and expensive relationship with you and the junk yard. When you buy a transmission that is rebuilt you have a warranty on it and a reputable Automotive facility that honors its work. So what it comes down too is the choice to take the risk and save money or spend a little extra and have a piece of mind that your car is going to work.
